A super 4 bedroom family villa in the hills close to the medieval walled town of Lucca, birthplace of Giacomo Puccini. Private pool and lovely views of the olive groves.
Arrival day: Saturday Car hire: Recommended
This wonderful 4 bedroom villa lies in the hills to the north east of the stunning town of Lucca, birthplace of Giacomo Puccini. Set on an estate with three houses on it Villa Puccini has considerable privacy and enjoys open views from both the house and pool over the surrounding valley and olive groves.
In front of the house there is a large terrace where we are sure that most of your meals will be enjoyed. This terrace faces west so sunsets can be enjoyed to their full. Entrance is onto either the large living room or into the well-equipped kitchen. The ground floor is completed by two bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with twins or a double. These two bedrooms share a large family bathroom with shower. Internal stairs lead to the first floor where there is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom and a second double bedroom which has a bathroom (with bath tub) next door. The delightful pool is located in the perfect position to enjoy the sun all day. There is a super covered area should you wish to relax with a book. The pool is about 25m from the main house.
Whilst we are sure that most of your time will be spent at the house and around the pool we are also convinced that you will take advantage of the superb location and visit the many towns and villages nearby. Lucca is one of Tuscany’s finest and Pisa, Montecatini, Barga, Viareggio are all super day trips. We highly recommend Villa Puccini to families as a great place to relax at and also perfect for exploring Tuscany and the coastline.
On the estate there is another 3 bedroom villa called Villa Giacomo plus the owners have a house. Each villa has been planned so that everyone has their own space and privacy. The terrace of Villa Puccini faces away from the other houses and the pool is for your use only.
