Villa Reggello is located amidst gently rolling Tuscan hills, between Valdichiana and Val d’Orcia. Only ten minutes from Montepulciano and Pienza, two iconic Renaissance towns, it is a spectacular setting with stunning views, offering you an authentic Tuscan experience. The villa has undergone a meticulous restoration, using original period materials, to maintain the traditional style of the historic farmhouse. A beautiful garden surrounds the villa, together with lavender fields and cherry and pomegranate orchards. The pool, a few steps away, blends in effortlessly with the landscape.
Entry is into the spacious living room and kitchen, which will become the hub of your holiday. Whipping up Tuscan specialities after the morning at the local market. The ground floor is completed by the first of 4 bedrooms, all brightly coloured to reflect the hues of the surrounding countryside. The bedrooms are all large and the ground floor bedroom has direct access to the gardens and a double sink plus en-suite bathroom with shower.
Impressive stone stairs lead to the first floor where the other three bedrooms are. At the end of the corridor lies the master bedroom with Queen size bed and bathtub and washing basin within the large room. Just outside the room there is the toilet. At the other end of the house lies a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. The final bedroom is equally spacious and has a wonderful en-suite bathroom with traditional bathtub.
From the kitchen a few steps leads you to a charming al fresco dining area and delightful pizza oven. Many an evening will be passed here enjoying a glass of the local wine. The pool is reached across a lawn and is about 50m from the villa, which overlooks the pool. The pool has been fenced and gated recently whilst a hedge grows around it.
With so much beauty all around you it will be hard to drag yourself away but with the staggeringly beautiful Val D'Orcia only a short drive away and so many pretty towns we think your day trips will be memorable. There is a restaurant about 500m along the track from your villa and the closest town of Montefollonico has several super local restaurants.
