This typical, stone-built villa boasts glorious views across the Tuscan landscape and is surrounded by well-tended lush gardens. The owners have ensured that their guests stay in a very comfortable and well-appointed holiday home.
Ai Cedri is reached via a sweeping driveway with parking to one side of the house. In front of the villa is a covered terrace from where the whole house can be accessed. On the ground floor is a reception room and a huge sitting-room with open fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hobs and large fridge-freezer. All the rooms on the ground floor have direct access to the garden. There is also a reading-room with double sofabed, which can be used by a couple or an older child.
The wooden staircase leads to a large landing. There is one double bedroom, one twin/double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (shower), and a third twin bedroom. The main bathroom is large and has a bathtub. All the bedrooms are very comfortable and all enjoy the splendid view across the valley towards Montepulciano. Throughout the house, there are lovely paintings which have been collected by the owners whilst on their travels through Italy, from Venice to Amalfi. The garden is well established (guests are welcome to help themselves to seasonal vegetables). The swimming pool is 20 metres from the house, with plenty of space around the pool to relax, and a barbecue you could well be tempted to spend all day here enjoying the privacy and views.
Ai Cedri is accessed along a country lane and is positioned just above the village of Pergo, with supermarket and pizzeria. Just a kilometre further, is an excellent restaurant. Although day trips to Arezzo, Siena and Florence will be on many guests agenda, Ai Cedri’s location means you are perfectly positioned to explore the smaller attractions of Montepulciano, Lucignano and also into Umbria Perugia, Assisi and Gubbio, being just a few to visit and of course you have the beautiful medieval hillside town Cortona on your doorstep.

Really excellent accomodation. The house and garden was beautiful and very well maintained. Everything we might possibly need seemed to have been thought of. Fabulous views from the house. The road up to the house needs to be taken with care when driving but this was all added to the charm. It was easy to get to other interesting places for day trips also, although we spent a lot of time at the house as it was so lovely there. Very nice to meet Zaria. She made us feel very welcome and offered help should we need it. Many thanks. We had a wonderful, memorable holiday.

This is the second time I have used this booking service and I would highly recommend this to others. The responses I receive are always friendly and very prompt and the level of detail that is provided is very useful and comprehensive. While the access road to Ai Cedri is quite challenging, the location and views are just wonderful! We really enjoyed the personal touches, especially the welcome platter and wine and the access to the beautiful vegetable garden.
