This charming trullo is a little oasis of calm with 9 pretty cones peaking through the surrounding olive trees. Carefully restored using only local materials, Trullo Pantanello has kept all the original features inside and outside making it a real delight. You may find that you need to lower your head to cater for the odd low ceiling that links some of the cones internally but you will be thrilled to enjoy this super holiday home in the heart of the Valle d’Itria.
The main entrance take you in to the living area with comfy sofa plus dining table – once belonging to a family that worked the land, the original fireplace was where most meals were cooked and rooms were added with a coned roof as the family grew or as the livestock reproduced! There are many alcoves, beams and corners that make Trullo Pantanello very characteristic and of course a kitchen has now been installed in perfect keeping with the old building.
There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms at Trullo Pantanello, located at opposite ends of the house – both are prettily furnished and though quite small, very comfortable.
Outside, the gardens are very well tended and around the villa there are lots of olive and pine trees creating shade and privacy. A covered dining area close to a great barbeque will be the home to many leisurely meals in the warm Italian air with the lovely pool inviting you for a dip whenever you need to cool off.
This quality house is just a couple of kilometres from the fabulous town of Alberobello, home to thousands of coned buildings and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are some excellent restaurants in the area and should you wish to travel a bit further afield then there are many more hilltop towns to experience and both the Adriatic and Ionian coastline to explore.
We welcome Trullo Pantanello to our portfolio and know that our guests will have a super stay.
