Trullo Cavallerizza is a real gem. This traditional Trulli is set in 5 acres of olive groves offering its occupants peace and tranquility at all times. The property and grounds have been restored beautifully with great attention to every aspect of detail.

Trullo Cavallerizza has been fully restored from it's early 19th century origins, exceptional care has been taken to ensure it keeps the traditional features but offers 21st century comfort and design.
The entrance leads into an elegant, spacious hallway, off which is a small lounge area, single bedroom, twin bedroom and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. There are two further bathrooms off the hallway, one with a bathtub.
The hall leads to a large, light filled living area with an open fire place. Steps take you down to the first of two kitchens which is well stocked for the most enthusiastic of cooks. There is a second, smaller kitchen here too leading out to one of the many external dining areas. Finally, linked to the first kitchen, in what was the original stable, is a cosy dining area.
A second double bedroom is found off the lounge area which has direct access to the exterior along with a shower room adjacent to it.
Finally there is a large double bedroom with an ensuite shower room accessed from a large terrace at the rear of the property. Note this bedroom can't be accessed internally.
One of the many beauties of this property is the number of seating areas externally, you can enjoy sitting as a group under the pergola, or should you wish to escape alone, you can find a quiet terrace to enjoy your book in peace and quiet. There is a large terrace by the house with comfortable seating - the perfect place to retire to after supper.
If the inviting pool is not already enough with it's sun beds and umbrellas, nestling in the grounds of the trullo is a fabulous Turkish bath complete with changing room and shower.
We are thrilled to offer Trullo Cavallerizza for rental and know that anyone staying here will have an extremely memorable holiday.
Included in the rate are 3 hours maid service per day, 6 days per week (not available on Sunday's). All electricity during the day is provided by photovoltaic panels which sit on the roof of the trullo.

Trullo Cavallerizza stands on a gorgeous and quiet location, isolated by old olive groves that surround it as far as the eye can see. It is also close to towns to get quality supplies or have a drink and a good meal. The trullo's layout is quirky as it's an old structure, but it's been re-done to strike a fine balance between rusticity, convenience and good taste: beautiful without ostentation. Our hostess, Ludovica, was superlatively friendly and helpful. For our group of shabby sybarites this was a thoroughly happy and fortunate choice. Do note that a car is required to get there and around, and that the road leading to the property entrance is pretty narrow, I would not try it on anything larger than a mid-size SUV, but that's part of the charm. There's enough to do and see in the area (picturesque towns, beaches), but the lure of staying home by the pool, undisturbed by anything other than the buzz of the cicadas or the occasional donkey bray is hard to resist.
