This charming property is hidden away in the Pugliese countryside, surrounded by age-old olive trees, fruit trees, Mediterranean blooms and stone walls making it a truly romantic setting. For those guests looking for a peaceful hideaway, Villa Roxanne may just tick all the boxes.
The villa sits in extensive grounds and is accessed from the spacious terrace that overlooks the pretty gardens. Internally the decor throughout is simple with lots of white furnishings both old and new, creating a chic and country atmosphere which will make you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
The spacious open plan lounge and dining area has plenty of comfortable seating for those wishing to avoid the hot midday sun and simply relax with doors leading out to the furnished terrace. A small but well equipped kitchen sits at the back of the lounge area and here you can enjoy inventing some great dishes using the readily available fresh fruit and vegetables found locally.
Two pretty bedrooms are located at the back of the house along with two bathrooms making it an ideal property for a small family, one or two couples.
A path leads from the main terrace through the Mediterranean garden to the delightful pool where there are sun beds and shade for some serious dozing before taking the plunge in the refreshing water.
With many of the lovely local towns such as Ostuni, Martina Franca, Alberobello and Cisternino within easy driving distances, Villa Roxanne comes highly recommended.
The charming owner lives on the estate in an independent trullo. She will not disturb you unless you seek her assistance. Please note there are some cats who live on the land.

Gorgeous setting, great location-beautiful pool with umbrella! Homely, informal house with a lovely artsy vibe. We would have liked more towels(beach towels). It would have been fantastic if there was air conditioning! July 2022
