This lovely property sits in a very pretty setting surrounded by glorious Pugliese countryside, with the beautiful towns of Cisternino, Martina Franca and Ostuni all just a short drive away. Recently renovated the house offers space, comfort and some great outside areas allowing al-fresco dining in a shady spot at any time of day or some spectacular star gazing at any time of night.
Entrance takes you in to the large open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The decor is clean and stylish with thick whitewashed walls, antique wood and wonderful stone floors. The kitchen has everything needed to whip up some tasty meals of locally sourced products which can be enjoyed at the marble topped breakfast bar or the large wooden farmhouse table. A big sofa sits at the end of this area facing the fireplace and glass doors lead out to the terrace and gardens.
The three bedrooms lead off the lounge area – there are two with double beds and one with 3 single beds. All have their own stylish bathrooms, one with shower and bathtub and the others with showers. Alcoves, niches and rounded walls have all been utilised under the 6 typical cones on the roof, so the shapes and sizes of the rooms all vary.
The fourth bedroom is found outside in the garden between the main house and the pool. This charming room has a double bed and shower room making it perfect for guests looking for a little extra independence or privacy.
There are two covered areas for lazy meals in the gorgeous warm Mediterranean air and the extensive grounds surround the villa ensuring peace, quiet and privacy, at all times. The brand-new pool sits slightly apart from the buildings and has a shallow “beach” area for paddling and then a deeper area for swimming.
