La Cipressa is a dream location for those looking for the perfect Tuscan bolthole. The owner has created a slice of paradise for his guests to Metato.
The original stone house is immersed in the hills above the Versilia coastline. The circular pool and decking has one of the best views we have come across in Italy and will be your go-to place for your stay. Surrounding the house there are several seating areas to enjoy and a covered dining area sits outside the kitchen.
Internally the house is simple and yet stylish. The well equipped kitchen and dining room take up the ground floor with a the bathroom leading off the kitchen. Wooden steps lead to the delightful bedroom with amazing views all around. Waking up here is special. A door form the bedroom leads to a lovely seating area for evening drinks.
There is a wooden secondary house which has two single beds in - ideal for a teenager or two. Below the house the hamlet of Metato has a local trattoria and the owner of La CIpressa has recently opened a restaurant for his guests to Metato (open twice a week). La Cipressa has a designated parking spot (steep access) below the house but access to the front door is only by foot - a path (approximately 200m) leads up passed the donkeys, a feature of Metato and without doubt truly original.
The view and house will enchant all who stay here and the house offers amazing quality and excellent privacy.
