This stunning boutique apartment will make you feel special from the moment you arrive in the charming town of Nardó. Steeped in authentic southern Italian culture, this little town is home to some amazing Baroque architecture centred around a pretty piazza, the perfect place to find a sunny seat and simply watch the locals go about their daily life.
Angel Apartment is located in one of the side streets just a couple of minutes from lovely Piazza Salandro and is housed in an impressive 17th-century palazzo that has been recently restored with a lot of love. The perfect mix of antique and modern furnishings creates a wonderful ambiance with clean and minimalist lines under original vaulted ceilings.
Entry is from the street and up a staircase to the first-floor – you will be thrilled with your choice of accommodation as soon as you open the door. A large and beautifully decorated sitting room with windows overlooking the street makes for a comfortable base at any time of year, a separate dining room is perfect for eating indoors and there is a well-equipped kitchen (electric oven/microwave, gas hob, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and dishwasher).
The spacious double bedroom with ensuite shower room has doors that lead out on to a small balcony overlooking the street.
If this is not already enough, take the staircase up to the stunning roof terrace and enjoy not only the sensational panorama across the town but also the fantastic second kitchen complete with 3 ring gas hob, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. A large table is housed under the shady pergola and breakfast (or any meal) taken here will be unforgettable. A further 3 levels are spread over this wonderful terrace, one being a sitting room with a giant designer sofa and the others are for soaking up the glorious sunshine and then cooling off in the open-air shower. Sunsets are not to be missed from this luxury vantage point when the rooftops and town become bathed in an amber glow.
This chic apartment makes an amazing base for a long weekend or for a more extended stay in this magical part of Puglia. You may find it hard to leave this little haven but should you venture out, there is some spectacular coastline to explore nearby along with famous towns of Lecce and Gallipoli.
