Villa Vallebuia is an elegant and comfortable home filled with period furniture and fittings keeping the wonderful country-house feel and atmosphere. Vaulted or beamed ceilings are found throughout as is the super rustic terracotta floor and there are some lovely antiques dotted around to admire. Completely surrounded by rows of vineyards and fields of olive trees, producing some fabulous wine and oil, the peace and tranquility found at this property is perfect for a restful holiday in this glorious corner of Tuscany.
The 5 bedrooms are divided between 2 buildings - the main house which is home to a spacious lounge complete with open fireplace and piano, a fully equipped kitchen and separate dining room with doors that open out on the to the garden. On the first floor there are 3 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a twin with a separate bathroom.
Opposite the house, above the cellar, a farm building has been transformed into a delightful two-person apartment. It is completely separate and comprises a double bedroom, bathroom and living room with dining table and fireplace.
Between the two buildings there is a large area with a big table for alfresco lunches and dinners.
The glorious pool is located in the pretty gardens down a short set of stone steps. There are plenty of sun loungers on the paved surround from where you can admire the stunning views before taking a refreshing dip.
With so much on offer at Villa Vallebuia we think you may have trouble tearing yourselves away from this idyllic spot. However, should you fancy a local outing, the fascinating medieval walled town San Gimignano is just 6km away with its famous towers and amazing history plus some super restaurants.
