Villa dell’Angelo is a beautifully restored 18th-century property located in a stunning position in the Tuscan hills with superb countryside views across extensive woodland and olive groves. Much love has gone into the renovations at this splendid property and guests are totally immersed in the true spirit and essence of all things Tuscan.
The villa sits in private grounds with beautifully kept gardens and magnificent pool (complete with hydromassage) making it an oasis of peace and tranquillity. The nearest village is Monsumanno Terme (2km) where there are some shops and restaurants and the nearest town is Montecatini Terme (5km) which has a larger choice of amenities. The fantastic location means that you can also venture out to visit Florence, Lucca, Pisa and many more famous towns in this fascinating region of Italy.
Villa dell’Angelo is spread over two floors and the front door leads into a hallway. Leading off this hallway is a double bedroom, furnished with antique wooden furniture and a door that opens out to the terrace with a pool view, a bathroom with a Jacuzzi shower and a cosy lounge furnished with comfortable sofa and armchairs plus a traditionally beamed ceiling. An arch opens into another larger lounge area, again very comfortably furnished and complete with big, open fireplace along with a separate dining room boasting an impressive wooden table seating up to 10 guests.
An arch from the dining room leads into the spacious country style kitchen. The super terracotta floors found throughout the property change here into a more rustic stone perfectly complimenting the large range, stone fireplace, marble sinks, 6 ring gas hob, 2 ovens and fridge, freezer and ice-maker. A wooden kitchen table with ample seating for up to 8 guests is the perfect place for some help with the chopping of local vegetables, the preparation of some home-made pasta or simply a glass of chilled wine and some good company for the cook!
Doors from the kitchen lead out to a fantastic covered terrace where guests can enjoy leisurely meals in the warm Tuscan air with the great garden view stretching out in front of them by day and a dark blue sky studded with stars by night. The pool sits behind the villa in fabulous lawns. Close to the pool area is a gym with changing rooms and a shower.
A staircase leads from the entrance hall to the first floor where a further 3 bedrooms are to be found – a double and a twin /double that share a bathroom and the master bedroom with a king size bed, ensuite bathroom with Turkish bath and Jacuzzi shower plus a magnificent view across the beautiful countryside.
