Located down a peaceful country lane amidst olive trees, fruit trees and landscaped gardens, this stylish and comfortable property sleeps 8 guests.
Divided in to 2 buildings - the farmhouse, known as the Lamia in Puglia and the wonderful 18 century trullo with 7 beautifully restored cones, Trullo Leonora is the perfect home for your stay in this glorious region.
The whitewashed trullo is the centre piece restored to UNESCO standards with thick stone walls and vaulted ceilings. Here there are 2 independent double suites with their own access - the larger suite has 2 double bedrooms, a tiny sitting room and one shower room. The smaller suite is home to 1 double bedroom with ensuite shower room and a small dressing room.
Just a few steps away, the lamia features a fully equipped kitchen, a large double bedroom with ensuite shower room plus a second shower room where the washing machine can be found. There is also a spacious sitting room where you can escape the midday sun if you so choose. The lamia is air conditioned.
Outside the shimmering pool invites you to take a refreshing dip or some early morning exercise. There are 2 shady gazebos to enjoy - one facing the lamia with a stunning stone table where you can enjoy leisurely family meals, aperitivi or maybe a game of cards! The other is closer to the pool and is equipped with comfy seating and again perfect for relaxing whilst keeping any eye on the bathers. Just behind this gazebo there is a great outside kitchen area with a barbeque, running water and a fridge where you can keep the wine (and maybe the water) cool.
The nearest restaurants and supermarkets can be found in San Michele just a few minutes' drive away and should you wish to go a little further, Ostuni known as the White City and Ceglie Messapica, the home to Italian slow food, are just a short drive away too. Should you wish to take a dip in the sea, there are various beaches on the Adriatic coast (east) that you can easily reach within 25 minutes and on the Ionian coast (west) in about 40 minutes drive.
Trullo Leonora is the perfect spot to experience the best of Puglia.
