TUSCANY Villas, Apartments & Hotel Holidays

Famous throughout the world, many people travel to experience the beauty of Tuscany all year round. Tuscany has plenty to offer, from its stunning, scenic countryside to its classical, charming towns, most famously Florence, Siena and Pisa, which offer the finest art and architecture from the Renaissance period, as well as a number of specialist boutiques and food and wine artisans. Our Tuscan holiday accommodation to rent includes stunning traditional villas and luxury apartments to rent throughout Tuscany’s vast, rolling countryside, many with their own private pools, as well as some of the highest quality hotels one can find in the cities.

Towns and Cities of Tuscany

Florence is the jewel in Tuscany's crown, and no holiday in Tuscany would be complete without exploring this spectacular Renaissance city. Even if you are residing in one of our villas located outside Florence, this beautiful city is well worth a day trip.

The Arno River flows through the centre of Florence, which is home to several world famous galleries - The Uffizi, Bargello and the Academia being just three. The stunning cathedral dominates the skyline and a walk around the backstreets takes you back to the Renaissance times of Michelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci.

You can also rent a villa in the famous city of Pisa, which lies to the west of Florence and is where visitors flock to see the amazing leaning tower often described as one of the highlights of their holidays in Tuscany.

We also have villas in Siena, one of the most beautiful towns in Italy and an amazing backdrop for any holiday in Tuscany. Its central piazza (Il Campo) provides the dramatic backdrop for the Palio horse race.

Lucca is one of the best-preserved towns in Italy and its medieval walls make for the perfect walkway all the way around the town. The birthplace of Giacomo Puccini makes for a great day trip during any Tuscany holidays.

Tuscany Countryside

The Chianti region produces some of the best wines in the world. The rolling hills are covered in vineyards and every few miles you will stumble upon another gorgeous village, with traditional restaurants and trattorias, or local vineyards to try out the fine wines of Tuscany.

The Val d’Orcia is a truly spectacular valley and well worth a visit if you are staying in one of our villas in the region. It encompasses many of the picture postcard images of Tuscany, including rolling hills with cypress trees and endless panoramas. The main villages to visit here are Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano and San Quirico, all must sees during your visit to the Tuscan region.

Food and Wine of Tuscany

Tuscany’s food and wine is often one of the main reasons people choose holidays in Tuscany. Much of the countryside is covered in vineyards and the reds produced are some of the best in the world. Brunello, Chianti, Bolgheri and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano are just some of the top names to look out for.

The food is largely based around fresh vegetables and excellent meat - the steaks from the Chianina breed are out of this world. With a wide variety of pasta dishes and meats, ranging from beef to wild boar, you are sure to find something to tempt your palate.

Tuscany Secrets – Off the beaten track

Around every corner, there is a host of Tuscan treasures waiting to be discovered. Small villages such as Lucignano, Civitella-in-Valdichiana and Bagno Vignoni are just a few of the tiny gems, well worth a slow and relaxed visit.

The range of visiting sights for Tuscany holidays varies hugely, as does the countryside, which enjoys a dazzling array of high mountains, wide valleys and coastlines with sparkling beaches. Why not take a day trip to the stunning island of Il Giglio, which has crystal clear water and white sandy beaches. Our pre departure information will guide you to the hidden corners of the region and point you in the right direction of that great local restaurant to make your holiday in Tuscany that little bit easier.

Many people venture on holidays in Tuscany in order to live out the ‘Tuscan Experience’, which is a complex tapestry of food, wine, culture, history, beauty, people and passion. As one travels this diverse region and enjoys a stay at any number of our beautiful villas, it is possible to find new treasures and fresh enthusiasm to return time and time again.
