This charming little independent villa sits in the heart of Porto Rafael from the shady terrace you can gaze across the garden to the inviting blue sea and the backdrop of the impressive Archipelago of La Maddalena.
Sitting in private gardens Casa Allegra is a perfect spot for a truly relaxing holiday with all the amenities you could possibly need right on your doorstep to get you through the week: the super sandy beach and crystal clear sea for glorious swimming, the picturesque Porto Rafael Piazzetta, home to Harrys Bar always open for a morning cappuccino and warm croissant (or midday glass of wine!) and the wonderfully well-stocked grocery shop for some culinary delights and amazing chocolate.
Built in the style of a traditional Stazzu or Sardinian house, Casa Allegra has whitewashed walls and simple charm. The entrance leads through the private car park and grassy gardens then up some granite steps to the long terrace that runs the length of the villa. This is shaded by a cane roof and the perfect place for your first cup of tea of the day there is an extended part for the those preferring to be in the sunshine. French doors open into the pretty lounge and dining room filled with trinkets and stylish but very simple furnishings. To the right of this area, you will find the main double bedroom with more French windows that open on to the front terrace and an en-suite bathroom.
Leading off the back of the lounge is another double bedroom with a window looking out on to the back terrace the Sardinian style prevails once again with white walls and rustic floors. There is also a second shower room making this a great property for one/two couples or a small family. (Please note that the beds are both doubles and do not divide).
Finally, the small but well equipped separate kitchen is found leading off the end of the lounge this has a gas hob, oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A glass door leads out on to a large terrace with table and chairs, a barbecue and a smaller area that has a canvas bed and a couple of bamboo deckchairs nestling between the rocks the ideal place for a siesta in the warm air.
The location and charm of Casa Allegra make it a fantastic choice for your stay in this beautiful part of the Mediterranean.
