Palazzo Saetta

The original Palazzo walls surround a small courtyard garden compete with a stone swimming pool which is flanked by ancient orange trees.

On the ground floor is a large communal area with doors leading out to the pool area. This communal area has a dining table ideal for evening gatherings.

There is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and direct access to the external courtyard. There is also a small kitchenette perfect for serving meals in the downstairs dining area and for preparation of an aperitivo to enjoy by the pool!

Stone stairs lead to the 1st floor where there is a large, light and airy open plan living and dining area with views out over the street to one side and over the pool to the other side. The kitchen is accessed from this open plan area.

On the first floor there are 5 spacious double rooms all with ensuite shower rooms which are accessed via an external stone walkway overlooking the pool area. One of these bedrooms can also be made up with twin beds and has the addition of a small double sofa bed - ideal for a young child wishing to share with parents.

Each bedroom has its own distinct charm and all bedrooms have a TV screen, a safety deposit box, a small fridge and a kettle.

Nardo is a vibrant town with a wealth of shops, bars and restaurants all within a short walk from the Palazzo. With the sandy beaches of the Ionian coast just a few kms away, we think Palazzo Saetta is a truly wonderful base to spend a week or two exploring the towns and villages of Southern Salento.
