Masseria Carbina

We had a wonderful time at Masseria Carbina and absolutely loved our stay. Everyone arrived without any issues, and the drivers all seemed familiar with the area, which made getting there very easy. Gian Franco, the driver was an especially excellent resource, so thank you for sharing his information. The property at the entrance to the driveway was a bit of an eyesore and such a contrast to the beauty and condition of Carbina itself. The home was exceptionally beautiful and very well appointed. Alessio was always available, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Everyone found the beds and pillows very comfortable. The automatic coffee maker with pods was a wonderful convenience, and we thoroughly enjoyed using the kitchen and taking advantage of all the dining areas, which were perfectly suited to a group of our size. The pool and outdoor beds were lovely, and we couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather. A few small additions would have made the stay even more comfortable. The evenings were slightly chilly, although not cold enough to warrant turning on the heat, so an extra throw or blanket in each bedroom would have been very welcome. We also missed having a speaker for music. I understood that it had accidentally been removed by the previous group, so it wasn't a major inconvenience, but it would have been a lovely addition. Finally, while we appreciated that the sheets and towels were 100% cotton, linens of a slightly higher quality would have elevated the experience further. Overall, Masseria Carbina was a wonderful place to stay. We loved our stay. I would happily recommend it to others, and would absolutely love to return!
