If you are looking for a country retreat set amongst the natural greenery and the magnificent granite rocks, then look no further. This simple but original country dwelling has an amazing feel to it the moment you arrive and is perfect for a relaxing holiday in beautiful and tranquil surroundings.
The spacious home is set amidst olive trees, mimosa trees and many other fantastic plants indiginous to the island. The whitewashed walls with green shutters along with the sprawling bouganville that shades the terrace gives an air of romance making you feel at home from the very start of your holiday.
The spacious lounge is furnished with simple cream coloured fabrics and rustic wooden furniture which compliment the beautiful floor tiles throughout the property which are always cool to your feet. A sofa encircles a big fireplace and windows look out across the wonderful countrside making you feel as if no-one else exists! A big dining table is positioned under some interesting wall murals and the large independent kitchen offers you plenty of space to whip up some superb italian dishes (gas hob, gas oven, fridge-freezer).
The double and twin bedrooms are simply furnished in whites and creams giving an air of real summer living and the charming bathroom (with shower unit only) has been recently redecorated.
The shade of a giant mimosa tree will enable you to eat on the wooden deck in the garden at all times, but the icing on the cake comes in the form of a small but fabulous swimming pool set slightly away from the house on a terrace amidst the amazing rocks with incredible views – just the perfect place to cool off and then enjoy a Sardinian sunset! Warning – you may never want to leave this piece of paradise!
Please note that Signor Ugo, the caretaker, lives in a small annexe attached to the house – he is very quiet and extremely respectful causing no disturbance to your stay in any way. He is, infact a great advantage as he is always on hand to help should you need assistance and the pool and gardens are always perfect.
Truly stunning views as well as feeling private. Immaculate, nice added touches such as fruit and welcome wine. Better than other villas we have booked through other companies which were more expensive but of a lesser quality. Exceptional attention. Particularly impressed with Ian, who not only phoned us upon arrival and directed us to the villa, but also arranged extra accommodation for two further members of our party.
