Villa Scozilia is located on the slopes of Mount Etna and enjoys fabulous views across the countryside to the coastline and Taormina. Set in immaculate gardens, it is a joy to wander the grounds and enjoy the wonderful pool and tennis court. The nearby village of Presa can be reached by foot and has a small grocery store and pizzeria (many guests never get any further, Villa Scozilia is a little corner of paradise). Compared with touristy Taormina and Giardini Naxos, the small villages of the slopes of Etna have a real feel of Sicily.
This property is comprised of four independent units. Two one bedroom apartments with small kitchens and bathrooms, one two bedroom house with one double and one twin and one large house sleeping up to 8 people. All the houses are close to each other and offer an ideal solution for a large party of family and friends who want to spend time together dining and round the beautiful pool and yet maintain their own privacy and independence. Within the grounds, there is also a superb tennis court for your use (cement surface), rackets and balls available.
If you do decide to venture out, there is plenty to see and do. Drive to the top of Mount Etna and explore this amazing volcano. Drop down to the coastline and have a day on the beach, nip into Taormina and marvel at the Greek amphitheatre. However, we believe that Villa Scozilia is so comfortable and the grounds so inviting that most of your time will be spent at ‘home’ with a good book and a bottle of wine and evenings all together.

The location is beautiful. Great views throughout the property. There is always a breeze. The breeze is very nice when it is hot. We missed having the breeze after we left Scozilla. We were a group of 11. We had plenty of room to spread out. The accommodations were clean, up to date and fully stocked and in working condition. The bathrooms all had travel toiletries, the kitchen was stocked with food to get us started. We found everything in the villa either as reported on the website or better. Daniela (Essential Italy) and Manila (owner) are THE BEST!

Scozilia is very beautiful. The gardens are very attractive and well cared for while the setting of the pool is idyllic. Casa Camelia has a lovely terrace.
