Tenuta Camerata is an elegant, spacious villa which has been recently refurbished to a high standard. It offers a lovely mix of traditional and contemporary furnishings with a slight hint of the orient in some of the interior.
Entry is into a spacious stone hallway off which is a comfortable lounge area with lots of seating and an open, working fireplace. On the ground floor you will also find a large dining rooms with seating for 12 - 14 people - this too has a working fireplace.
The kitchen has a farmhouse feel to it with a large range and double oven, an open fireplace for cooking on, two dishwashers and a four door fridge/freezer. There is also a large kitchen table so all members of your party can be involved in the preparation of lunch or dinner.
On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with a queen size four poster bed. It too has a working, open fireplace and a shower room just a few steps away off the entrance hall.
The icing on the cake is a large, independent air-conditioned studio with a home cinema/projector - ideal for keeping children and adults alike occupied during the warmest parts of the day. This room has direct access to the gardens and has ample seating for up to 10 people.
Finally on the ground floor is a laundry room equipped with a tumble dryer, drying racks and utility sink.
Stairs lead to the first floor where you'll find three bedrooms - 2 doubles with ensuite bathrooms (one with a tub) and one twin/double room also with an ensuite shower room
On the first floor is a shower room which serves the large bedroom on the 2nd floor. A narrow stone staircase leads to the final bedroom in the tower which has twin beds and a set of bunks (sleeping a total of four people). Note the twin beds can be linked to make a double bed.
The villa sits in extensive grounds where you'll find a lovely outside kitchen area with a barbecue and a pizza oven. There is a large, covered pergola with dining space for up to 20 people. The house offers 360 degree views over the surrounding countryside and, with lots of external lighting, the grounds are as pretty by night as they are during the day. The grounds are well tended and you'll find a wide selection of herbs which you are welcome to help yourselves to.
We have no hesitation in recommending Tenuta Camerata to groups of family or friends alike, the setting is idyllic and the quality of accommodation is outstanding.
