Villa Torre Sassa ticks so many boxes on our Tuscany wishlist, we just had to have it. This superb villa is located in the village of Iano, a short walk from restaurants, grocery and local bar. The owners of the next door group of apartments have turned this private villa into a wonderful Tuscan haven. The views across the Val d’Elsa from the villa are spectacular and the interiors are of a high quality. Add to this the lovely private pool and we think we have found almost the perfect villa for a quality family holiday.
The living and dining room are very spacious and there are comfortable sofas and a large wooden dining table. Large glass doors ensure that the amazing view is accessible at all times of the day and night. There is a wonderful terrace equipped with table and chairs where we are sure that most of your meals will be enjoyed.
The kitchen is fully equipped for even the keenest of chefs, spacious and bright there is a large preparation table, hobs, oven, dishwasher and fridge freezer.
The villa has six double bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, all with showers – two of these bedrooms can be also turned into twin beds. All the bedrooms have air conditioning (payable locally according to usage). The overall feel of the villa is elegant and luxurious and that view is truly amazing.
The beautiful pool is located below the villa about 20 metres from the house and is the perfect place to relax and take in the Tuscan sun. It is also great to know that in the village there are a couple of restaurants, a bar and a grocery. Your morning stroll for shopping and a cappuccino will start each day off on the right foot and with people around you will feel part of the community. The possibilities for day trips is almost endless, San Gimignano, Siena, Florence, Pisa, Volterra to name but a few. However, we are pretty convinced that the temptation not to stray too far from Villa Torre Sassa and Iano could prove too strong.

We've been to Italy around 6 times and this villa is by far the best we have been to. The accommodation was spotless, inside and out. Cinzia was very welcoming and friendly and around if we needed her. Zaira came and visited us which was a nice touch and she was easily contactable too. If we were to be very picky, our party members remarked that the kitchen wasn't quite as well equipped as we would have liked. For example, only one chopping board, few utensils for the BBQ. Also in all the other villas we have stayed at before, there have been a few things left from other guests, eg salt/pepper, olive oil etc, which was always handy to have. We do however understand that the owners might just prefer to remove anything that is left over and that is fair enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and in particularly the pool and the outdoor seating area. We will definitely return! - August 2019

Breathtaking views. Lovely villa. Really good company to use. The staff took the time to help me find the right villa. Information was accurate. Would definitely use them again.

Well equipped and very clean rooms and bedding. Could have done with more storage for food items. Loved all the ensuite bathrooms - such lovely bedrooms too. Amazing views and ideally situated on the edge of a very friendly hospitable village. Close to necessary facilities and not too far for alternative shopping. Loved all the varied wildlife too. Didn't expect a visit from Essential Italy, but it was very welcome and all our questions were answered. It’s a special birthday year for me and this was certainly a special holiday. It was so nice to get all my family together in such a lovely environment- somewhere I won’t forget. I will certainly consider Essential Italy for future holidays.
