Villa Angelica

We think perhaps we have found the perfect Tuscan villa. This impressive villa is in the main street of Fabbrica di Peccioli with bars and shops on your doorstep. Once inside the villa’s grounds you will certainly know that you are in a special place. The picture postcard Tuscan landscape spreads out before you and your mealtimes will feel like being on a film set. The pool is just the perfect place from where to take in this view and have a pre-dinner drink and a delicious home-cooked meal.

The house is on three levels. On the ground floor, there is a spacious kitchen which is well equipped with hobs, oven, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer. French doors lead from the kitchen to a large terrace. To the left of the kitchen, there is a small informal lounge/dining area which leads through to a more formal dining area. There is also a formal lounge area together with a library/study where you will find internet access. Lastly, on the ground floor you’ll find a double/twin room with a shower room.

An imposing staircase leads to the first floor where there are two double bedrooms and two double/twin rooms. Three of these rooms are extremely large and can easily accommodate a single bed for a child or teenager. There are two bathrooms one with bathtub.

On the ground floor there is a large terrace with comfortable seating and a covered gazebo offering shade to dine under. The external covered dining area also offers a spectacular view over the surrounding countryside. Steps lead down to the lower ground floor where there is a beautiful pool again with the same breath-taking view. There is a second external covered seating area on the lower ground floor next to the pool.

There is off road parking next to the house and also a small children’s playground together with a table tennis table in the grounds of the villa.

Villa Angelica will make a superb base to explore this stunning area of Tuscany, the towns of Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence and Siena are all within striking distance and all make superb day trips. The only difficulty will be dragging yourself away from the terraces and that stunning view.
