Lovely, very comfortable villa in classic Tuscan village of San Giovanni d’Asso in the picture postcard classic Tuscan countryside south-east of Siena.

Villa Capanna is a very comfortable villa nestling in one of the central villages of the Crete Senese – the spectacular countryside south-east of Siena. The classic Tuscan picture-postcard scenery is your backdrop as you enjoy the private garden and pool.
Entry is to the private garden which is fully equipped with tables and chairs and sun umbrella. The small pool (6m x 3m) is directly in front of the house and there is a bathroom with shower in an outhouse. Most of your meals will be taken on the lovely patio from where one enters the house. On the ground floor, there is a large open plan kitchen (dishwasher, small oven, hobs, fridge freezer and washing machine) and a living room with a fireplace. Iron and wooden stairs lead up to the first floor where there are two comfortable double bedrooms and one single bedroom. There are two bathrooms with showers on the first floor.
The location of La Capanna is superb (days can pass without the need to use the car) in San Giovanni d’Asso there is a grocery store, bar, restaurant, Osteria and other village stalls. (By day three you will feel one of the locals.) Combine this with an excellent standard of accommodation and the fabulous sights of Pienza, Siena, Montepulciano and many more treasures, and we believe that La Capanna provides a wonderful holiday property for a family or a small group of friends.
For a large group of friends/relatives, La Capanna can be rented together with La Consuma, which is next door and can be connected by the garden gate. This would provide a stunning location for a family get-together (sleeping a total of 19 people). Prices upon request.
