Spectacular views over the Versilia coastline. A beautiful, spacious apartment on the top floor of the large town house in the small hamlet of Metato.

Situated in the small hamlet of Metato, Panorama is a real gem of a house. On the top floor of the large town house you'll find one of the best views in the area. The hamlet of Metato is perched high in the hills above the Versilia coast and remains very much as it has for centuries. A holiday here is a ‘step back in time’.
Reached by a steep stone staircase which leads to the first floor you will find two double/twin bedrooms along with a small double (1.40m wide) which is open to the lounge area. All three bedrooms enjoy the same beautiful view. These bedrooms share a shower room.
Panorama has been restored using original materials and the design is ‘rural chic’. Another flight of stone steps lead to the top floor where you'll find the comfortable living room with an open fireplace. to one side of the lounge is a wonderful, fully equipped kitchen. There is a double bedroom and bathroom with shower.
The terrace is equipped with tables, chairs, sun loungers and a hot tub and is the ideal place to enjoy the valley and coastline in the distance. The evening sunsets will be the visual highlight of your day and the night lights below will provide entertainment long into the night – enjoyed over a glass of wine (or three).
At the bottom of the hill lies Pietrasanta (12km), a charming town with much to see and do including a fantastic selection of wine bars and restaurants. Over the past few years it has become a centre for leading sculptors and in the summer months it is alive with activity. Just a few kilometres further away is Forte dei Marmi which is the chicest resort in Tuscany. Pisa and Lucca are just a short drive, and Cinque Terre is about 40 minutes by motorway.
Parking is available a short walk from the house either below the village or just above Panorama - please note the last few meters of the track to the parking area above the house is steep.

Idyllic. Just idyllic. Remote, unspoilt, romantic, quiet, peaceful. And as for the apartment it was wonderful inside as well, but the terrace, the view. It was impossible to leave and we are aching to be back there. (we felt... this accommodation (probably even Metato as a whole) would not be suitable for anyone with any health/walking issues at all.)
