Villa Tuffo holds an amazing position on the hillside just a few kilometres from the magnificent baroque town of Noto and the spectacular beaches found in the Vendicari Reserve. The super pool and great patio, perfect for al fresco meals at any time of day, are surrounded by wonderful indigenous trees including almonds, oranges, lemons and age-old olives. The splendid panorama across the gardens stretches to the coastline making the sparkling blue sea a permanent fixture by day and the twinkling star-studded sky by night.
The villa sits in an oasis of peace and tranquillity in private parkland shared only with another similar property, Villa Cavaliere. All on one level, Villa Tuffo is a carefully renovated country building with a chic and modern theme to it. The local owner has ensured that all the rooms let in plenty of light and with the simple but elegant furnishings in predominantly blue, beige and white, the property has a very stylish feel to it.
The villa comprises a furnished patio with glass doors that lead into the well-equipped kitchen. A comfortable lounge is found to one side of the kitchen with sofas, satellite TV and DVD player. There are 2 double bedrooms and 2 shower rooms plus a small studio room that is accessed from the patio and here there is the possibility of a single sofa bed for a 5th guest. Outside there is a good barbecue area and an external shower.
The pretty pool sits in front of the villa with olive trees providing some welcome shade during the hotter parts of the day. Here you may relax and enjoy the peacefulness found at Villa Tuffo whilst contemplating which beach or town to visit next or simply slip into the cool pool and do a few lengths before making any major decisions!

The villa was lovely and an excellent base for exploring south east Sicily - when we could bear to tear ourselves away from the gorgeous pool and the views of the sea.
