We think Villa Suono del Mare might just be the perfect villa! The sea is directly in front of the house, it has a beautiful pool and the small town of Marina di Modica is a short walk away. In the town, there are restaurants and bars along with a lovely sandy beach.
The location of Villa Suono del Mare is fabulous with the sea just 30 metres from the house and accessed via a gate at the bottom of the garden. Here you can bathe from the rocks immediately in front of the property and should you prefer some sand between your toes, the super beach of Marina di Modica is just a few minutes walk away towards the town.
Entry to the villa is from a large covered terrace where there is comfortable seating along with an external dining area and barbecue - just the spot for some al-fresco dining and some shady dozing with splendid views across the sea.
Large sliding doors lead into a light, open plan kitchen, dining, living area. Off this communal area are three bedrooms: one double with an en-suite shower room and a second double and a twin bedroom which share a shower room.
There are bikes available at the villa so you can nip into town and pick up fresh bread or simply enjoy a ride around the local area.
We are convinced that Villa Suono del Mare is the ideal location for a couple, families or a group of friends travelling together.

A superb villa ideally placed to visit the beautiful local baroque towns of Modica, Ragusa, Siracusa and Noto. The local beach at Marina di Modica is a short drive away and is large, sandy and full of beach clubs where you can hire out beds and parasols to take time out from sun. As a family of four we really enjoyed the pool, table tennis and board games and appreciated all the help and guidance from Enzo, the local agent who was always available if needed. August 2024

Essential Italy - Louise in particular were very helpful before we left, answering many questions efficiently and helpfully. While in house the owner supplied 2 new bikes for us meaning we did not need a car. We used taxis to shop and do an Etna visit. The location of the house is great just hearing the sea lapping on the rocky beach was relaxing at any time of day. The house had all we needed and we made use of the bbq on a regular basis. We will be back! August 2022

The villa exceeded our expectations, was very well located on the beach and was very well set up, with everything we could want. It is finished to a very high standard and the direct access to the beach is simply lovely, pool area and table tennis, enjoyed by the children enormously. Enzo the owner of the house could not have been nicer or more helpful, bringing an extra bicycle when he realised we had three children in our group. Highly recommend, only disappointment was the weather and so would love to return when the weather is better. April 2019
