Villa Pioppo has recently been refurbished to a high standard. It’s just 200 metres from the sandy beach of Santa Maria del Focallo on a private road and a short drive from the seaside town of Pozallo. Pozallo is a pretty town with a 15th-century watch tower at one end of the large town beach and a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants.
The villa has a comfortable lounge area which leads through to a modern, well-equipped kitchen. On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom with an ensuite shower room. Stairs lead from the kitchen to the first floor where you’ll find another two bedrooms; one double and one twin room both with ensuite bathrooms. The double room has a small terrace which overlooks the pool area.
The walled garden offers good privacy and to the front of the villa, there is secure parking for two cars. The lovely pool sits in the middle of the garden and has a section at one end which is a whirlpool. There is a super external lounge area with a second kitchen complete with barbecue. This area is also very private and offers great shade so you can relax and escape the heat of the mid-day sun.

You will be able to spend days on the beach, by the pool or exploring one of the beautiful baroque towns, of which there are several a short drive away; including Scicli, Modica, Noto and even Siracusa which is slightly further afield, but still quite possible for a day away.
