We are delighted to be able to offer this modern, light and airy villa. The super location is just a couple of kilometres from the magnificent Baroque town of Noto and the beautiful beaches found along the stunning coastline of the Vendicari Nature Reserve. The contemporary villa sits in a private estate in the hills above Noto and is surrounded by beautiful citrus, almond and olive trees.
Villa Mennula is accessed from the private parking area and entry into the villa is via large glass doors from the stylishly furnished terrace – the perfect place for dining and snoozing with a fantastic view across the gardens and countryside over to the sparkling sea. The open plan living and dining room are located next to the well-equipped kitchen which also has access to the terrace. Carefully designed, the kitchen has everything needed to let the chef experiment with some of the fantastic local fayre and includes a full-size oven, hob, microwave dishwasher and fridge freezer.
Leading off the lounge area there are three double/twin bedrooms, one of which is en-suite and the other two share a shower room. All the bedrooms have doors opening directly on to the terrace that circles the property permitting guests to access the pool and gardens at any time of day (or night) without disturbing the rest of the party.
Steps lead from the covered terrace down to a pool terrace complete with sun loungers overlooking the inviting pool. With plenty of space around the villa and grassy lawns poolside, this property is ideal for the bare feet of younger guests who may roam free and there are some beautiful walks to be taken around the immediate estate.
The town of Noto is brimming with lovely restaurants, shops and bars including the famous Caffé Sicilia where you’ll find some of the finest ice cream and local ‘granite’ in the whole of Italy.

We loved our stay in Villa Mennula. It was a beautiful & comfortable villa. It was lovely to be greeted and escorted to our villa and to have a villa in Italy with a kettle, a teapot and a toaster is fairly unusual. The pool and the salt water purification in the pool was particularly pleasing.
