Continue further down the garden and a gate leads you to the low cliff and sea front. A short walk to the right and you come to a small cove from where you can swim.

The nearby town of Avola is charming and with further places such as Noto, Siracusa and Marzamemi within easy reach Villa Calamare is ideally placed for exploring the baroque delights of this region. Only a few minutes up the coast is Fontane Bianche with its super sandy beach. The villa is located in a quiet residential area and access is by a lane which is only for the use of the few houses along the track.
