About Mare Dentro

This villa offers an enchanting view over the Avola coastline. The modern, welcoming interiors are all on one level and include a bright and open-space living room-kitchen, two double bedrooms (two with en suite bathroom), a smaller twin bedroom and a third bathroom, also with shower. It has the added bonus of a Jacuzzi on the roof with a seating area and additional fridge.

The terrace overlooks the coast and is well equipped with umbrellas, sun loungers and a large dining area where we are sure you'll enjoy many dinners together. There are steps from the main terrace to the roof where you can enjoy watching the sun rise each morning and boats moving around the waters at the front of the villa. There's also a steel ladder to access the sea directly from the terrace!

Only 100m away from the house is the sandy beach and a short walk along it leads to a couple of lidos with beach bars. Day trips to Siracusa, Modica, Ragusa Ibla and the stunning Baroque town of Noto are all within easy reach by car.

What an incredible week we had at Mare Dentro. We had only ever been to Sicily in the summer months but spring showed us a whole other level of gorgeousness. The flora was just beautiful, colour everywhere - along the coast and up in the hills. The villa was literally perfect. That vast terrace right on the water with the sandy beach in view and just a few steps away. Yes, we swam even in April. We spent so much time on that terrace - breakfast, reading, sunbathing, lunch, chatting, dancing, playing cards, BBQs and long, long meals. Inside the villa is spacious - such a treat to have 3 bathrooms - and had everything we needed. We all slept SO well. We did trips to Noto and Syracuse and took walks at the Oasi del Gelsomineto and down the steep sides of the Cavagrande del Cassibile - which is definitely something to recommend. Another A+ holiday with Essential Italy. Thank you. April 2025
