Casa Amugea sits in the simple seaside village of Santa Maria del Focallo. The village has a small mini market/cafe/bar and the house is just a short walk from the beach along the lanes of the village.
A gate leads into the garden which is walled. Entry leads to an open plan sitting room/kitchen diner. To the right of the kitchen glass doors open onto a large terrace where there is an outside kitchen with everything one might need to rustle up supper; a pizza oven, gas hob and gas barbecue along with a fridge and a sink. There's also a large, covered dining table.
To the left of the kitchen are 3 bedrooms; 1 double, 1 twin/double and a small single. There are also 2 shower rooms.
On the opposite side of the house to the outside dining area and kitchen you will find a small pool and sun terrace with loungers where you can relax with a good book, a glass of wine or keep an eye on children while they play.
The town of Pozallo is just a short drive away where there are an abundance of restaurants and bars and the beautiful towns of Noto, Marzamemi, Ragusa and Modica (to name but a few) are all within very easy striking distance.
