Casa Gallo

Casa Gallo is a lovely little house that could be 5 star with a little bit of TLC. The noise from the restaurant below was disappointing the first night due to wedding celebrations that went on until 2.00am. After that it was pretty peaceful and the tips from the team on restaurants, sailing day out, beaches etc were brilliant. We had a super time. July 2024

Just the best personal service from a small local business to me. Villa location perfect, the villa was lovely, not the most modern with a couple of door latches sticking but didn't spoil the holiday at all. August 2023

What a find! Sarah tells me is was one of the first villas built in Porto Rafael. Comfortable with great sea views and the beach just a few steps away. Thanks Essential Italy - we will travel with you again. September 2021

It was a lovely property in a lovely setting but some more comfortable outside seating would have been nice. We were very impressed by how we were looked after by Sarah and all at Essential Italy. June 2019

Location is the overriding selling point of this property - truly spectacular, and its proximity to the beach (considering it has no pool) is fabulous. We loved our stay at Casa Gallo and already miss it. We will be back. Overall, fabulous.

We had a truly wonderful holiday - gorgeous location, excellent accommodation, and well looked after by Francesca and Sarah. Just don't expect an early night Saturday! :)

Francesca and Sarah were absolutely fantastic. Really great local tips and always extremely helpful. We had a wonderful holiday and have no hesitation in recommending essential italy!

It is a fabulous little villa. We absolutely loved it and could easily have stayed for a month... absolutely superb for a quiet, peaceful holiday within easy drive of lots of little towns and beaches. 2 mins walk to 2 little beaches with crystal clear sea (in June anyway) but car essential - the view is breath taking and certainly has the wow factor. Sarah was just lovely - we felt we were able to ask for help with anything if we'd needed to. Would absolutely use Essential Italy and recommend to anyone.

The house is so beautiful and in such an amazing location. The view from every window was tear jerking (enhanced by copious quantities of wonderful Sardinian wine of course!). We absolutely loved Casa Gallo, it exceeded all our (pretty high) expectations. The views are so stunning and the house so beautifully designed. Porto Rafael is charming and we loved being able to stroll easily to two such lovely beaches. Cannot recommend it highly enough. We have vowed to return.

Casa Gallo is in a perfect location with beautiful views. Sarah and Miriam were most helpful and lovely. This is the 4th time we have booked through Essential Italy, we have stayed in Tuscany, Umbria, Sicilly and Sardinia. It is more expensive than booking independently but in our opinion is worth every penny for the personal care and attention.

We absolutely enjoyed our time at Casa Gallo and Sarah is the best host we could ever imagine. She was always there to help, very dependable, friendly and smiling.
