About Villa Petra

Villa Petra sits just 2 kms to the west of Diso and Marittima where you'll find shops, bars and restaurants. The popular cove of Acquaviva is just 5kms where you'll find easy access to the sea along with a snack bar on the beach and a more sophisticated bar just above the bay too.

Entry is via stone steps leading to a large covered dining area with sliding glass doors this leads into a small living and kitchen area. The kitchen is well equipped with burners, oven, hob, fridge and microwave.

On this floor you will find 4 double bedrooms all with ensuite shower rooms. On the lower ground floor there are 3 more double bedrooms again with ensuite shower rooms. Two of these rooms have direct access to the terrace.

There is a wonderful external kitchen area with burners, sink, fridge and grill for barbecuing. The large pool sits just 50 meters from the villa and is surrounded by olive trees and shrubs giving it a lovely countryside feel, albeit just a short drive from the town.

Close to Villa Petra you have a wide choice of restaurants serving local dishes, fabulous coves and beautiful, historic small towns to explore. The Baroque town of Lecce is a short drive away as is the seaside town of Otranto with its fascinating Castle.

This villa is simple yet offers everything you need to have a restful and restorative stay in this fascinating and unique part of Italy.
