Villa Kubo is a super and contemporary property, finished to a high standard, located in the heart of the Porto Selvggio Nature Reserve with some spectacular coastline just a few kilometres away. The clean white lines and the chic design are a true contrast to the traditional Pugliese architecture and the perfect position of the property allows guests to look out over the pretty gardens with gorgeous private pool and across the neighbouring countryside to the shimmering Ionian Sea.
With privacy in mind, the villa has a wall that encloses the property and gardens making it a little world of its own. A long driveway leads up to the house and this is accessed in to the light and airy open plan lounge/diner with big windows and a glass door opening on to a large terrace overlooking the pool.Beautiful cream coloured local stone and marble have been used throughout the villa giving it an elegant yet minimalistic feel.
The bright white kitchen is well equipped with all the facilities needed to rustle up some tasty fare using the great choice of fresh food on offer in this fabulous region of Italy.
On the ground floor, leading off the lounge, there are two double bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms, views of the gardens and pool plus access to the terraces. On the lower floor, accessed externally, there is another double bedroom with ensuite bathroom – this too has a lovely sea view and windows on two sides of the room making it light and airy.
Outside there are some lovely spaces, both sunny and shady, to enjoy the lovely warm days and nights. A great dining area with long wooden table sits between the pool and the villa enabling leisurely meals at all times of day.
The glorious pool is a great size for doing some lengths being 14m long and is surrounded by sun-loungers plus some other comfortable seating areaa and an outside shower.
Villa Kubo is in a great location enabling guests to enjoy the privacy of the villa but knowing that there are a wealth of lovely beaches to visit just a short drive away plus some of the fascinating southern Italian towns and villages – Lecce, Nardo, Gallipoli and Santa Maria al Bagno, to name but a few.
