This pretty restored trullo sits in a great location right on the edge of the pretty town of Locorotondo. It is part of a small estate and includes the neighbouring property of Trullo Angelica.
A small driveway leads off the main road up to a private parking area and the property, which is partly-surrounded by charming gardens full of olive trees, grape vines, scented rosemary bushes, apple and pomegranate trees. Steps lead up to the villa and there is a super sunny private terrace on the far side of the property, home to a large table and great barbecue.
The entrance takes you in to the stone walled lounge area with wood burning stove, a dining table and the well equipped kitchen. Leading off the lounge you will find 2 prettily furnished bedrooms a double and a twin plus 2 shower rooms. The great typical dor found throughout Puglia with white washed walls and creamy coloured furnishings works perfectly giving a cool and stylish feeling at all times even though the temperatures outside may be constantly on the rise.
Set apart from the villa is the gorgeous pool with a good selection of sunbeds and a big shady palm tree should you wish to escape the rays. Please note that the pool is shared with Trullo Angelica. Both Trullo Marika and Trullo Angelica can be rented together - see Villa Angelika – sleeping 10+2.

What our guests say
Anna Maria Carter, UK
Beautiful trullo and Francesca and Andrea were very welcoming. Overall a very good experience and we loved Puglia and the people. Weather wasn't great which is unusual but we managed to get out and about despite this. We loved the trullo and felt at home very quickly. Would go back again. A good base for getting to lots of great places.
