Trullo Loco is located in a very peaceful area not far from the historic towns of Cisternino and Locorotondo.
Arrival day: Saturday Car hire: Recommended
The old trullo has been beautifully renovated, as have the stables, making a very comfortable holiday home in two separate buildings. Simple furnishings along with whitewashed walls and local stone floors give the houses a chic feel to them without losing any of their original charm and atmosphere.
The trullo with its typical multi-coned roof is home to two bedrooms – a double and a large single, two shower-rooms, a large sitting room with an open fireplace and a dining area.
The old stables have a spacious sitting room, well-equipped kitchen with a big window permitting you to enjoy the beautiful view of the valley, 2 double bedrooms and a third room with a sofa bed, along with 2 shower rooms.
The outside area at Trullo Loco is perfect for summer living. Guests will spend much time by the lovely pool and there are various seating areas to enjoy dotted around the gardens, both sunny and shady. Perhaps the most popular area of this villa is the fantastic outside kitchen allowing you not only to eat al-fresco but also to cook al-fresco.
Should you wish to venture out to experience some wonderful Pugliese life, Trullo Loco is perfectly positioned for easy trips to some of the best-known towns in the Valle d’Itria such as Ostuni, Alberobello, Cisternino, Martina Franca and Locorotondo. You can also easily reach the Adriatic coastline and be swimming in the glorious sea in under 30 minutes.
