Palazzu Nianu is located in the centre of Neviano with shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. This elegant palazzo has been beautifully restored by Interior Architect Georg Kayser and Puglian Architect Alessandro Venneri.

Palazzo Nianu is an elegant town house with accommodation over three levels.
Entrance into a cool and spacious stairwell offers a resting place to enjoy an aperitivo and watch town life unfold around you.
Stone steps lead to the first floor where you'll find a simple, elegant dining area with three bedrooms leading off it. A large double bedroom at the front of the palazzo offers views down to the street from a small balcony, a second double shares a bathroom with the first and a large master double can be found at the rear of the palazzo with a spacious dressing area and an ensuite bathroom.
The whole of the first floor has high vaulted ceilings and the colour palate throughout is muted, cool tones giving a beautiful feeling of space and calm.
A corridor leads to a small reading room which in turn leads to a few steps leading down to the well equipped kitchen. The kitchen overlooks a terrace with a dining table which is a few more steps down from the first floor and accessed directly from the stone staircase. The kitchen and outdoor table are carefully set apart so as not to disturb the bedrooms.
Another flight of stone steps leads to the 'icing on the cake'...
A large roof terrace has been divided into three areas; a small dining space overlooking the duomo of the town church, a comfortable seating area with fire pit and another few steps lead up to a sun terrace with a small plunge pool. From the roof terrace you have 360 degree views over the town to the surrounding countryside.
This is a special house with a very calm and tranquil vibe. Perfect for a family or group of friends looking to unwind and enjoy the rustic charm of the Basso Salento.
The towns of Gallipoli, Lecce, Otranto and Nardo are all within easy reach for day trips, albeit you might find it hard to leave the roof terrace!
Please note there are many steps within this palazzo making it unsuitable for young children.
