This cool and pretty apartment is set in the back streets of the sleepy village of Marittima - the perfect location to experience some real Salento living with the spectacular coastline a short drive away with many towns and villages to explore within easy reach.
Simple and chic is the best way to describe this super accommodation an original little town house that has been renovated with a huge amount of flair by the owners Deborah and Andrea. The main door leads off the street into a small courtyard - a few steps lead into the sitting and dining area with its whitewashed walls and contemporary furnishings the cool grey shades along with local stone floors and beautiful vaulted ceilings create a truly lovely atmosphere.
A small kitchen leads off the sitting room as does a pretty double bedroom. Down some stone steps there is another twin bedroom with a shower room. The house is perfect for either a couple wishing for some real down time or a family looking for a great deal.
The icing on the cake is perhaps the amazing roof terrace which overlooks Marittima and across to the sea in the distance the ideal spot for some leisurely meals, a few bottles of wine or some catching up with the family in the very best of locations!
At Essential Italy we only take on properties that we would be happy staying in ourselves both Sarah and Helen would be delighted to move in to Casa Diso tomorrow!

What our guests say
Charlotte McInnes, London
We loved Casa Diso - such a charming house. A perfect mix of traditional and modern style. It had everything we wanted/needed but also a beautiful simplicity. Marittima was such a sweet town, and so local - not touristy. It was perfectly located for swims at Aqua Viva and also visits to other beaches and towns in the Salento. Deborah was a wonderful hostess/guide - she made us feel so welcome and had great advise and tips. We just loved out time at Casa Diso and would definitely recommend it!
