Villa Vita has been a real hit with our guests since its restoration in 2008. The villa sits on a hillside in extensive private grounds. It is rare to find an original stone property of such character with all the bedrooms under one roof. There are two Trulli housing two of the bedrooms and both Trulli can be accessed externally and internally, so are not separate from the main living areas.
Entry is into a large and stylish sitting room, a cooling sanctuary should outdoor living get just a touch too hot. An archway links the lounge to the open plan kitchen and dining area with a contemporary feel and chic decor. The kitchen is very well-equipped and includes a gas hob, full sized oven, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave providing everything you could need to try out some traditional Pugliese dishes. The large dining table comfortably seats 8 guests (of course there is also a large covered dining area outside by the pool).
From the kitchen is a corridor leading to 4 bedrooms, 2 of these are double rooms at the front of the building and both are original Trulli (high conical shaped roofs). To the left of the corridor you will find a twin room with ensuite shower room and another double bedroom and between these rooms, there is a bathroom with shower and corner bath. Immediately to the right upon leaving the kitchen is a further family bathroom with shower, and just beyond is the door leading out to the large terrace with a table tennis table and fantastic pool which sits to the rear of the villa. A small utility room with washing machine completes the picture.
This property has the advantage of wonderfully thick walls so remains relatively cool even with high summer temperatures. The outside areas at Villa Vita have been carefully considered during the restoration. There is a large covered dining area overlooking the stunning, big swimming pool which takes centre stage at the back of the house. There is also an outdoor stone kitchen with barbecue, sink and seating thus maximising outdoor living to the full.
The standard and quality of this refurbished villa make it an unforgettable holiday home for all our guests.

Villa Vitta exceeded our expectations, it is very well equipped and beautifully finished. A great deal of thought has gone into the villa to make it ideal for families. We would definitely book this villa again. Everything we would hope for and more. Looking forward to our next holiday.

Very peaceful and rural, we liked it very much. Also very handy for trips to Ostuni and Ceglie. Chris and Simona were both very friendly and helpful. Chris was always easy to contact by phone and nothing was too much trouble for him – even tracking down the fans we asked for when all the shops were out of stock! Excellent client care. We had a great holiday and very much liked the area which we had not been to before. Very happy with the service provided by Essential Italy so will certainly look at your website again if we are considering another holiday to Italy. (Special mention goes to the hanging day bed on the patio – our teenagers loved lounging on this in the shade!!)

The villa is really lovely, set in wonderful grounds, with a fab pool, pizza oven and table tennis table which was used a lot. Fantastically situated between Ostuni and Ceglie and well set back off the main road so it was really private and peaceful. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
