Villa Azzu boasts one of the most stunning positions along the coast and is the perfect property if you are looking for a tranquil spot with truly fantastic view across the sparkling turquoise sea and the beautiful islands of the Archipelago of La Maddalena. Amazing granite rock formations, sculpted over the centuries by the wind, provide a further backdrop allowing you to be in complete harmony with nature.
The curvy drive up the hill will give you an idea of the spectacular panorama that awaits once you reach the gates to Villa Azzu – 300 metres above the sea! The road turns into a track about half way up adding even more fun to the journey but note shops, restaurants and beaches can be easily reached within 10 to 15 minutes by car.
Once through the gates, the entrance leads to the back of the villa where you can park and immediately enjoy yet another (and different) spectacular sea view – this one looking across to the impressive island of La Tavolara just beyond the bay of Olbia. The front door is accessed by a covered veranda and opens in to the spacious living and dining area. The large sliding glass doors open out to a shady terrace overlooking the sparking pool and across to the breath-taking and ever-changing sea view.
Leading off the lounge to the right is a shower room and separate kitchen equipped with electric hob, electric oven, dishwasher and fridge freezer. More doors lead out to the terrace so the view can be enjoyed from all angles!
On the left of the lounge you will find three bedrooms – one double with en-suite shower room plus a further double and twin that share a shower room.
The villa accommodation internally is all on one level making it easy to negotiate for both younger and more mature guests.
The inviting pool will undoubtedly be the focal part of your stay with sunbeds dotted around the gardens for soaking up some rays or simply lazing on whilst watching the world go by on the sea in front of you. The view at Villa Azzu is a rare treat and once you have the fridge stocked with some local wine and tasty fare you will probably not want to travel too far away from this idyllic spot. We must add that the sky at night is a real treat as the light pollution is minimal – perfect for star gazing in the warm Mediterranean air before falling in to bed.
If peace, tranquillity and a super view are top priority, Villa Azzu could well be the perfect property for your stay in Sardinia.
Please note that the track is maintained but can be bumpy as the summer goes on. Please also note that there is air conditioning only in the lounge – this is included in the price from 03.06.18 - 15.09.18. If required outside these dates there is a charge payable locally.
