Positioned just below the medieval town of Cortona this one bedroom house offers guests a haven of peace and quiet. Sitting on your garden patio the views across the pool and beyond to Lake Trasimeno and the Valdichiana are enchanting. Serenella is one of three houses which share the pool, each have their own garden.

The front of the house has large patio windows and means that the house is full of light and has a truly Mediterranean feel. Entry is into a large sitting room There is a double bedroom (the bed is quite narrow) and bathroom with a shower. The kitchen, at the opposite end of the house to the bedroom, is equipped with oven, hobs and fridge. It has a breakfast table and patio doors that open onto your garden. Much of your time at Serenella will be spent eating, reading and relaxing on your garden patio which is directly in front of the accommodation.

A few steps down the hill lies the swimming pool (10 x 5) which is set in the lush garden. The pool is approximately 20 metres from your house and is shared with the houses Limonaia (sleeps 2) and Villa Serena (sleeps 6).

For the more energetic Cortona is walkable, and is full of activity throughout the year. The peace and quiet of Serenella will tempt you to stay very close to home but we are sure that with marvellous villages and towns such as Montepulciano, Pienza, Arezzo and Siena all within a short drive the odd day trip will be on your ‘things to do’ list. Your outings will be all the more relaxing knowing that you can always return for a dip in the pool and a glass of wine in front of your house.
