If you are looking for something thing a little special, Trullo Paolo might be for you. This stylish and elegant trullo has been recently refurbished with a lot of attention to every detail. The lovely architect owner, Paolo, has ensured a superior quality of furnishings and fittings throughout and the property is suited to 2 or 4 guests.
The driveway leads up to the pretty and typical Pugliese property with seven cones on the roof. The main entrance leads into a small lounge and you will know from the moment you set foot inside that you have made a great choice. Simple but stylish furnishings compliment the white washed walls and exposed brick cones and this is a great room to enjoy some quiet moments whilst escaping the midday heat. A modern sofa sits in front of the original fireplace and there is a tiny kitchenette in an alcove – perfect for making an espresso coffee, a cup of tea or a light snack without moving too far, along with a small dining area.
Leading off the lounge is a super double bedroom – utilising all the space in this original building you will find the double bed under one cone and a delightful small lounge area with chaise longue under another. There is a door that leads out to the gardens and the modern bathroom has a good sized shower.
A corridor leads to the second bedroom – this is slightly smaller in size but still beautifully furnished and has a charming separate lounge area that opens out on to the pool. The en-suite bathroom is modern and again has a great shower.
Outside the pool awaits – totally private with sunbeds and a fantastic shower area, this is where you will undoubtedly spend most of your time. A super kitchen and dining area have been created where you can enjoy cooking, eating, wine-tasting and relaxing at any time of the day. We cannot think of a better start to the day than enjoying a coffee and some local pastries and fresh fruit in this delightful haven whilst deciding what to do next – we would not be surprised if you get no further than the pool and a sunbed ! The kitchen is home to a great pizza oven so should you feel creative, you can try your hand at some simple baking with tasty toppings - the choice is yours!
Should you venture out of this paradise, you are well placed to visit some of the stunning hilltop towns in the area – Ceglie Messapica, Ostuni and Martina Franca to name but a few and the sparkling Adriatic coast is about a 30 minute drive away should you wish to take a dip in the sea.
We welcome Trullo Paolo to our portfolio and look forward to hearing your comments!
