Lu Ciaccaru Arzachena

The owner of Lu Ciaccaru has had the project of converting her childhood home into a small and elegant residence with bed and breakast accommodation for years – she was thrilled to announce the opening in May 2007. Her enthusiasm to share with her guests the magnificent mediterranean countryside that surrounds the carefully restructured buildings (now 2 villas) and new suites/bedrooms is reflected in the super accommodation provided.

The spacious grounds are all grassed and the entrance leads to you to a car park and reception. The gardens gently roll over to the fantastic pool, the suites (two separate rows of 5 rooms each), and the historic farm building, now renamed Lo Stazzo. All the local vegetation has remained untouched, and the whole ambience is one of peace and tranquility. (We can see Lu Ciaccaru becoming very popular with our regular travellers!)

The accomodation:

Suites (10)

Spacious and typically furnished double bedrooms with smaller lounge area where the sofa may be used as a further double bed plus bathroom with shower and hairdrier. The private verandas overlook the gardens and are furnished with comfortable outdoor furniture. All suites have air conditioning and TV.

Double bedrooms (2)

Extremely comfortable double rooms situated between the suites and the main building where reception is to be found. Prettily furnished with cane and local stone, these rooms are smaller than the suites. A small patio, air conditioning and TV are included.

Restaurant

Situated by the reception with a vast terrace for al-fresco eating, the characteristic restaurant serves a tasty continental breakfast to all the residents of the suites and rooms (included in the price). Local fare for evening dining is also available to all residents and a daily menu will be displayed so that you may choose to book knowing that you will be coming back to a sumptous dinner (bookable and payable locally). An à la carte menu is also available along with a comprehensive wine list.

The location may not be on the beach but is well placed for many of the famous stretches of coastline plus many more of the not so well known beaches and bays. Easy access to many of the local towns and villages.

The owner is understandably very proud of her new venture and hopes that you will enjoy it as much as she does. Prices for the first year of the venture are extremely reasonable and we are sure that you will have a fantastic and rejuvenating time.
