Trullo Elio Fasano

Located on the fringe of the hillside village of Santa Lucia, Trullo Elio nestles within the rolling hills high above the town of Fasano. It lies approximately 10 minutes drive from the coast and is also conveniently located between Bari and Brindisi airports with journey times to either being under an hour.

The Trullo can be found at the end of a private drive in a very peaceful setting, within its own olive grove and terraced gardens. It boasts beautiful views of unspoilt farm land, typical of the Val d’Itria. The property has been renovated by its current owners to a very high standard whilst retaining the features and character of a traditional Trullo.

Externally, the property has a raised terrace with large dining table underneath a pergola. Guests may wander through the gardens at their leisure and, depending on the time of year, can collect some of the finest Italian ingredients for al fresco dining. The swimming pool is enclosed within one of the walled terraces close to the Trullo and guests will be able to enjoy the fabulous views of the valley whilst swimming a few lengths.

Internally, the master double bedroom provides a wall mounted air conditioning unit and has been furnished in an oriental style. It has an open plan en suite shower with a shoulder height glass brick wall dividing the bathroom from the bedroom space making the total effect really special.

The double bedroom is accessed by a traditional Italian style (air conditioned) twin bedroom featuring an exposed stone wall, antique furniture and traditional window shutters. You can also access the master bedroom directly via an external door that leads out under the pergola and onto the terrace, should the occupants of the twin room wish for more privacy. The main bathroom leads directly off the lounge and is fitted with a traditional white suite with the luxury of a free standing bath and a heated towel rail.

The lounge provides a comfortable seating area with dining table and a wood burning stove just in case some extra warmth is required by guests on colder nights. There is a compact modern kitchen equipped for serious cooking where you will find a gas hob, oven and dish washer.

We consider Trullo Elio to be excellent value for money and are convinced that you will not want to leave it at the end of your stay!
