Casa Cicerali Between Ostuni and Cisternino

Casa Cicerali is a fabulous renovated stone farmhouse in a glorious location looking across a valley filled with vineyards, almond trees and olive groves.

The typical Lamia style building has been refurbished in a stunning contemporary design making it elegant and at the same time very comfortable. The rectangular traditional shape has not been altered in any way, simply whitewashed to give it a super Mediterranean feel and the beautiful exposed stone walls inside the house mix the farmhouse with modern day ‘chic’ – we know you will love this house.

The house is semi detached, but quite private and not overlooked at all, Casa Cicerali is entered by glass doors leading into the kitchen which then leads into the lounge area – the wonderful cream coloured stone is rough on the walls and polished on the floor making a super contrast. Filled with modern furniture, the house has a great contemporary feel and we are sure that you will be more than happy lounging indoors should the heat outside get a little too hot – as you will see, the thickness of the original walls ensures that all rooms remain cool during the summer months.

Leading off the lounge is the light and airy kitchen – whites, creams and pale woods being the main shades. Beautifully designed and fully equipped with hob, oven and fridge freezer, this is the perfect place for preparing some wonderful Pugliese fare.

The two bedrooms are very simply furnished keeping the theme of white and beige running throughout. There is a double and a twin with 2 separate single beds (these are fixed and cannot be made into a double) plus a shared shower room.

As beautiful as Casa Cicerali is, we are pretty sure that you will be spending most of your time outside in the gardens at this fantastic property. A covered and furnished terrace makes the ideal place for leisurely dining with tasty grills straight from the barbeque, the super teak deck is the obvious choice for the ardent sunbather and the pool (due to be completed in June 2011) of course is the best place to be for a little cooling off and perhaps some gentle exercise.
