This elegant and charming Masseria with its superb accommodation is not to be missed and we can clearly see why it won the Best Bed & Breakfast Award in Puglia (2007). Beautifully restored and perfectly maintained, you will feel like you are at home from the moment you arrive and are greeted by the hospitable owners, Leonie and Paolo.

Olive and almond trees surround the property giving a wonderful feeling of peace and tranquility – you may think you are miles from anywhere but infact you are only a couple of kilometres from the gorgeous sandy beach and just a couple more to the stunning White City of Ostuni.

The pool is centrally located amidst manicured lawns with the bed and breakfast double rooms on one side and the four self catering apartments on the other. All the accommodation has been furnished with the utmost care and attention to detail making it chic, stylish and most of all comfortable. Whether you opt for a double room or one of the apartments, you will be guaranteed everything that you could possibly need for a great stay in this stunning area of Italy.

The four B&B rooms are all differently furnished – 3 have large overhead fans and all have air conditioning. A large lounge may be shared by guests along with spacious and shady terraces all furnished with large sofas where you will be more than happy to while away the hours planning your next trip out or just deciding where to go for dinner – there is a great choice!

The four newly refurbished apartments offer the added bonus of kitchen facilties giving you the opportunity to sample some of the local fare in your own home. Once again, style is not missing in any of these fabulous apartments and all are equipped with air conditioning, TV, CD and DVD player.

Grande

This spacious apartment sleeps 2. Entry is via a large covered private terrace with comfortable seating. One the terrace there is also a barbecue. The terrace leads to a large living room with a sofa bed. There is a well equipped kitchen with hob and fridge. There is a double bedroom with shower room.

Piccolo

This one bedroom apartment has a covered terrace with comfortable seating. Entry is into a kitchen with hob, oven and fridge. Steps lead down from the kitchen into a spacious sunken lounge area and from this there is a double room with an en-suite bathroom.

Nuova

This one bedroom apartment sleeps 2/3. Entry is into the lounge area which has a sofa bed. There is a kitchen with hob, oven and fridge and then a double room with shower room.

Ostuni (sleeps 2/4)

This two bedroom apartment is on the first floor and has a fantastic roof terrace with views over towards Ostuni. Entry is via the terrace into the lounge/kitchen with oven, hob and fridge. A small corridor leads to one double room and a double/twin room with lovely view over the pool and gardens. There are two bathrooms.

We are confident that you will be so well looked after at Masseria La Rascina that you may find it very hard to leave!

Plan to stay longer than the two nights that we stayed if you can. Leonie and Paolo are a delight and so attentive to their guests. They will sit and chat for hours if you want, or totally leave you alone if you prefer. Breakfast is served from 8.30 (I think) until the last person has had their breakfast. No need to get up early if you want to sleep in. Good example of how accommodating they are.
