Chiesa del Carmine is a stunning 11th-century church with an 18th-century farmhouse. Both were lovingly restored in 2012 and provide contemporary accommodation in a very classic setting. There are a total of eight bedrooms sleeping up to fourteen people.
Entry is into a large spacious kitchen which is extremely well-equipped with everything required to rustle up Italian feasts for your party. There is a dishwasher, a large double fridge/freezer, oven, six burners and a coffee machine.
From the kitchen, there’s an entry into the church where you’ll find a large lounge area complete with home cinema and a grand piano. To the side of the lounge there’s a formal dining area should you wish to entertain inside. These areas are bathed in natural light with glass doors leading the terraces.
From the church, you cross a small courtyard to the farmhouse where there are eight bedrooms and six bathrooms along with a second lounge area.
On the ground floor there are four bedrooms; one double with and ensuite bathroom and private terrace. The bathroom has a free-standing bath. There are a further two double/twin rooms each with an ensuite shower room and finally, on the ground floor, there is a small single room.
A staircase leads to the first floor where you’ll find a second lounge area and an additional four bedrooms; One large double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, private terrace and stone steps leading directly down to the garden. Two twin/double rooms again both with ensuite shower rooms and finally a small single bedroom. There is a bathroom which is shared between the lounge and a single room.
The beautiful, large pool is situated behind the villa offering superb views over the Umbrian Countryside with ample umbrellas and sun loungers with a lovely covered dining area too. Dotted around the land there are several quiet seating areas where you can enjoy the view or simply relax with a good book or glass of wine (or perhaps both!). You have the added bonus of a Cantina where you can purchase local wine just a short walk away down the hillside.
The rates include daily maid service and should you require the additional services of a cook this can be arranged with ease.
