Essential Italy is very proud to offer our clients this special villa. Perched on the hillside Ripiano has spectacular views over the valley and it will be difficult to drag oneself away from the poolside to visit nearby Lucca and explore the beautiful Garfagnana national park.
Entry to the spacious living room is via a series of terraces, all with spectacular views and equipped for eating al fresco. The living space is very comfortable and boasts a lovely fireplace. This house would be ideal for a winter stay – skiing nearby at Abetone.
The well-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, hobs, oven, fridge-freezer) leads off the living room. There are two double/twin bedrooms on the ground floor, both with their own bathroom with showers. There is also a laundry room with washing machine and ironing facilities. Internal stairs lead from the living room to a further 3 double/twin bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower. There is also a further bathroom with bath.
The pool uses a salt water electrolysis system and there is a lockable gate, giving parents control over when children can access the pool. The views from the pool, covered dining area and pergola (at the far end of the pool) are breathtaking and complete this fabulous villa as a perfect destination for groups of friends and family. The steeply sloping grounds have been carefully cleared to provide walks and private seating areas.

Very impressed with the service offered and the villa was immaculate on our arrival with a very generous welcome pack. The drive leading down from the road to the villa was slightly daunting at first, as warned in the guide notes, but we soon became used to it. The villa was very easy to navigate as a wheelchair user and the bedroom and bathroom very workable. Overall a very enjoyable week and we felt very well catered for by the Essential Italy staff.

Excellent. Beautiful, beautiful villa – everything done how you would want it. Lovely with a 1-year-old too... all the electrics and boiler very modern, pool and balconies all really well gated/fenced, so felt very safe. She had a lovely time including her first ever swim. The villa was totally brilliant and we had a great stay.
