Located on the edge of the National Marine Park of La Maddalena, Valle dell’Erica holds a perfect position with superb views in all directions and some of the most spectacular sandy beaches to be found in the area. This brand new resort has been reconstructed on the original site of the very first holiday village ever built in Sardinia back in 1958. This village was wildly popular with a very affluent clientele – kings, princes and nobility were often on the guest list and once you have visited this little bit of paradise, you can see why!

The 140 ground floor bedrooms are set amongst the natural vegetation and are carefully positioned so that access to the lovely white sandy beach is never more than 200m. True Sardinian style furnishings and fittings abound and all rooms have a covered veranda with 2 deckchairs (or table and 2 chairs), en-suite bathroom with hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, safe, and mini-bar. For real relaxation, you may also book one of the 6 stupendous‘wellness centre rooms’ – specially designed with relaxation in mind and with direct access to the Thalassotherapy centre.

The Thalasso and Spa Centre is a great place to relax and encounter some real pampering. Set amidst the impressive granite rocks that Sardinia is famous for, the centre consists of 4 multi-function sea water pools which are heated to different temperatures for the thalassotherapy circuit and if this is not enough, there is a huge choice of further beauty treatments, massages and exercise classes that you may select at your leisure.

Eating at Valle dell’Erica is a wonderful experience and you will find 2 restuarants, Nautilus and La Prua, (plus a beach grill Li Zini open in high season only) that offer a wonderful selection of mouth watering local and international fare. Nautilus offers splendid buffet style fare with stupendous views across to the Archipleago of La Maddalena whilst La Prua offers candlelit table service for a romantic evening.

Valle dell’Erica has thought out every aspect of your holiday and if you are travelling with children, there are two clubs that are not to be missed:

Mini/Junior Club
Child care service for children between 3–12 years that is open 6 days a week from 09.30–18.30.

Apart from the great play area, there is a restaurant serving lunch for your children with animators entertaining them at the same time (supplement applicable if not on full board).

A nursery is open 24 hours a day for the tiniest of guests and this offers changing, bottle warming and sterilising facilities.

For 2008 the hotel will offer some great sporting facilities including a 3 hole golf course plus putting green (payable locally along with lessons and club hire if required), organised walks and relaxation techniques, which are practiced outside surrounded by the fabulous scenery

Valle dell’Erica prefers to use an electronic card for all cash payments during your stay – this will be issued to you on arrival and you may credit any amount onto it at any time during your holiday. This makes life a lot easier as you have no need to carry cash around with you whilst swimming, sunbathing or walking along the super sandy beach.
