Positioned just below the medieval town of Cortona this one bedroom house offers guests a haven of peace and quiet. Sitting on your garden patio the views across the Valdichiana and beyond to Lake Trasimeno are enchanting. Limonaia is one of three houses which share the pool, each have their own garden.

The front of the house has large patio windows and means that the house is full of light. Entry is into a large living room. Leading off the living room is the kitchen which also has patio doors onto the garden. It is equipped with hobs, oven and fridge. There is a double bedroom (again with patio doors) and a bathroom with a shower. Much of your time at Limonaia will be spent eating, reading and relaxing on your garden patio which is directly in front of the accommodation.

A few steps down the hill lies the swimming pool (10 x 5m) which is set in the lush garden. The pool is approximately 30 metres from your house and is shared with the houses Serenella (sleeps 2) and Villa Serena (sleeps 6).

For the more energetic Cortona is walkable (only 1.5 kms away but uphill) and is full of activity throughout the year. The peace and quiet of Limonaia will tempt you to stay very close to home but we are sure that with marvellous villages and towns such as Montepulciano, Pienza, Arezzo and Siena all within a short drive the odd day trip will be on your ‘things to do’ list. Your outings will be all the more relaxing knowing that you can always return for a dip in the pool and a glass of wine in front of your house.
