Positioned between Arezzo and Cortona this spacious 4 bedroom villa has been superbly renovated and each bedroom has fabulous views. The garden and pool are wonderful and the position of the house is perfect for relaxing and exploring this fascinating part of Tuscany.
On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with comfortable seating and open fireplace. The kitchen, which leads onto the covered patio, is well equipped with 5 gas hobs, oven, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Most meals will be taken on the patio which is fully equipped with tables and chairs and overlooks the pool and makes the most of the fabulous views. Behind the house in the garden there is a great barbeque area and laundry room. Also on the ground floor there is one double bedroom with French windows onto the terrace, there is also a bathroom with shower.
From the living room internal stairs lead to the other bedrooms, all enjoy great views. The master double bedroom is large and has an en suite bathroom with shower and access to the spacious first floor terrace. There is one twin bedroom and one twin / double which share the third bathroom which has a bathtub.
The pool area is fantastic and there are ample sun loungers. Parents wanting to sip a glass of wine and read a book in the shade can easily keep an eye on their children in the pool as the patio is but 10m away.
Villa La Senaia is just 3km away from the lovely village of Castiglion Fiorentino which has all that one could wish for on holiday: local shops, supermarkets and great restaurants. Castiglion Fiorentino is very well located for visiting many of Tuscany’s jewels – Cortona, Arezzo, Siena and the spectacular countryside near Montepulciano are all within a short drive. Florence is either an hours drive or one can take the train. The charming owners live next door to the villa. However the local village could well be your favourite of all these.

We would like to say thanks to yourselves and Ian for a fabulous holiday. Forgot to put on the questionnaire, thanks to Ian’s local knowledge we had some great meals out, found routes and parking in Florence easily and had a fantastic time at Lake Trassimeno which Megan loved, this was not in any guide book so having this knowledge was excellent.
